Upon meeting with over 20 agents from Salt Lake County for the realtor tour today, there seemed to be a common concern for all of us.  It has been a very slow week since the end of April and the deadline for the famous tax credit has passed.  We are getting a lot of hits on our listings through our various websites, but no calls for showings.  Let's hope this is just a bump in the road for our real estate market.  Historically this time of year is a very busy time for sales.  But as we all know, it is a challenging market for sellers right now! Prices are low right now...but there is a lot of competition and  short sales and foreclosures are driving the prices down for everyone. Bad news for sellers and good news for buyers. At least the spring weather is inviting.
